ABOUT ME
I absolutely love special events and everything social. After hosting an annual spa retreat weekend that kept growing, I decided to enroll in a Meeting and Events Management program. I started my own events planning company (Remember the Times Creations) which was short lived after being laid off in 2012. I would like to later revamp and expand it incorporating everything that I've learned in the PRAD program.

I'm always amazed by the number of people I've met that have never left the city, let alone the country. When time and money permits, I enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the country and world. A few of my favorite places have been Toronto, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. I am most excited about my trip to Dubai which included a stop in Abu Dhabi.
Two of my favorite things to do is roller skate and scrapbook. I have found that with age and weight, there is much I can no longer do on skates. I never really enjoyed taking pictures, however, when I started scrapbooking, pictures took on a whole other light. For me, scrapbooking is another way to tell a story as well as relieve stress. It's been a while since I've actually worked on it, but I do enjoy having some music in the background while I cut, paste, staple and work away.
I believe that when you enjoy what you do, it never feels like "work." Having worked in commercial property managment and on the finance side for many years, I would really like an opportunity to work in a creative environment that incorporates my education along with my hobbies and other activities that I relish in doing. My desire is not only to help my organization meet their goals and objectives, but rather, to exceed the expectation and help them grow in every way possible.
